AMD 150x150 AMD Prepare chipset 870, CPU Speed 3.2 GHz NewestCompanies that dominate the market of DirectX 11 is located in California, NVIDIA is still delaying the launch of GTX 470 graphics card and 480-based Fermi. However, the chip maker has some plans for the chipset and the CPU business, in accordance with the details of which recently have appeared on the Internet. AMD seems to be a refreshing bid 870 chipset with the latest models, whereas in the CPU segment, the plan will create a new processor that will work on the 3.2 GHz speed.

According to Fudzilla, AMD plans to introduce a new chipset that will be designed to scale version of the upcoming 870FX chipset. Simply called 870, this new chipset will be paired with some mainstream southbridge options, such as SB600, SB700, SB710 or SB750. As far as technical specifications, this new chipset will offer support for socket AM3 and PCI Express x16 slot 2 gene. There are no major graphics and chipset TDP will continue to work on the 13W.


In addition to the new chipset, AMD will introduce Phenom X4 processor latest 94 II, who at-speed clock at 3.2GHz and is intended for the business segment. Thanks to improve speed performance, this new CPU will provide business users with increased performance overall. Other features include 95W TPD and 8MB cache, as far as wills Fudzilla. Proccesor will be available starting the second quarter of this year 2010, as an upgrade option for the Phenom X4 II B95 today, 3.0GHz speed.

Unfortunately, no details of the CPU prices will come, but it is clear that AMD wants to provide consumers with a better alternative for some new options I5 Core and Core i7, which is available in the market, from Intel. As for 870 chipsets, reportedly will be coming soon in April 2010.
