gognews3Google news is likely to renew their home page views by adding a special box that will contain a list of top stories, which feature similar trending topics on Twitter. As written by TechCrunch, Google has ever tried to buy Twitter, but failed, continue to study the various features in the application Twitter, and seemed to be ‘copied’ features trending topics.

I immediately tried it on Google news, but this feature seems to apply only to certain users and not roll out to the public, this feature is really on top stories under the column which is a collection of links that are hot news. Top stories themselves feature you can click and will feature a variety of news links that are popular, but in new designs, tab top stories combined in one box which also contains the keywords for the topics most popular.

Here Screen shoot from the old version of Google news:

And the following new design Screen shoot I quoted from Grack.com:

Trending topics itself is one of the leading feature of Twitter that presents a variety of topics that are the trend in twiterverse, even his own Twitter update this feature to launch a more local trend classify again trending topics on a particular location.

Frankly I are very curious await the official announcement from Google about this feature, the process of ‘echoes’ is likely to continue, Buzz who tried to enter the realm of social media that deal directly with Facebook and Twitter, and then re-tweet a la Facebook, which was launched early January last year that functions much like a re-tweet on Twitter.

Looks like users of Indonesia have not been able to experience the new design of Google News is, but if you’re curious to see what it looks like, you can see on TechCrunch or Grack.com. And if you are able to use this feature, you can share your experiences in comments column.
