Intel’s Atom N450 Own Integrated Graphics

In the late 2009 Intel announced the release of Intel’s Atom N450 processor. This processor technology using 45 nanometer technology that measures the processor becomes more reduced to 60%. Although the size of the Atom processor is a smaller version for the problem of performance and power-saving Atom has advantages over previous versions.


This is different from the previous generation of Intel Atom, N450 series that has a 1.66 GHz speed have integrated graphics. Graphics and memory controller is integrated with the CPU in a chipset. With the chipset’s condition more integrated, it will produce electric power more efficient. Because electric power is used as a power chipset would be less.

Integrated graphics with N45o Atom is Intel GMA 3150 which is 45 nm version of the GMA 3100. According to information from Intel’s power saving that can be done by this latest Atom processor is about 20%.

Intel Atom is already N45o adopted by a range netbook released in 2010. In general, the netbook market in 2010 will continue to grow. For the record year 2009 has sold less than 40 million units. Year 2010 is expected to reach 60 million units of value.

For those of you who intend to have a netbook in the year 2010, do not forget to include the Intel Atom N450 netbook in the list of specifications of your choice.
