1. Download the latest version 5.2 Gnomenu files here.

2. Then open a terminal & enter to the directory location of downloaded file is stored (here I save in the folder ¨ becouz.

3. Then extract the files gnomenu-2.5.tar.gz by typing:

tar zxvf gnomenu-2.5.tar.gz lalu Enter.

4. Extract process is complete then there gnomenu folder. From the terminal go into the folder by typing gnomenu:

becouz@mycomp:~/becoouz$ cd gnomenu
becouz@mycomp:~/becoouz/gnomenu$

5. Then type:

becouz@mycomp:~/becoouz/gnomenu$ sudo make then Enter.

Make the process appear.

6. The next step is the installation by typing:

becouz@mycomp:~/becoouz/gnomenu$ sudo make install and then Enter.

7. Then see the results by right-clicking the bottom panel and select Add to panel. Appear window Add to panels & search Gnomenu list.

8. If there is no list Gnomenu log out first then the PC. Click Gnomenu then click Add to bring it to the panel.

9. Then download the W7 for Gnomenu here. Where W7 view this looks a lot like Windows 7 that can only be installed in Gnomenu 2.5. And how to install it is not difficult, it can be done by right clicking on Gnomenu continue select Properties. We install W7 Gnomenu on the menu for selection.

10. Then we need to install Dockbarx because the display will feature typical of Windows 7, which lists its windows & transparent box-shaped. Do I type in the terminal:

$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa dockbar-main/ppa then Enter

$ sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install dockbarx then Enter

11. Once completed then we try running with the first step Remove Windows List is in the bottom panel.

12. Then log out of ubuntu and then right click on the login panel select Add to panel, appeared list Add to panels.

13th. Find & select Dockbarx & click Add. Dockbarx will automatically appear in the bottom panel Bro. Then be in drag to the left or at will then lock you in order not to switch positions.

To edit the look Dockbarx we can edit with right click on the left end Dockbarx and select Properties. Dockbarx Preference window appears. In Dockbarx Preference Opacify we can edit, Theme, Popup settings, etc..

15. Then ekstraklah file Shinybar1_3_for_DockbarX_by_Levviathor forming tar file. Then extract the folder again so that it appears Shinybar1.3_deviantart.

16. In the folder there are files shinybar_13_horiz.tar.gz Shinybar1.3_deviantart and shinybar_13_vert.tar.gz, copas (copy and paste) the file to the directory / usr / share / dockbarx / themes, and click on Reload in the folder.

17. Right click on the left end Dockbarx in the bottom panel and select Properties, appeared Dockbarx Preference. And on the Theme dropdown there already exist two new themes that had been paste.

18. Then select the themes that shinybar 13 horiz and click the reload (picture drop down arrow next to the theme of his). Automated form in the bottom panel Ubuntu Dockbarx we will change, then close his preference Dockbarx and right click on the bottom panel and select Properties.

19. At our size change from 24 to 42 pixels, then click the Background tab. In the background select the Background image and browse to the folder Shinybar1.3_deviantart. Find the file-bottom.png panel and click Open, and the bottom panel display will be bigger and transparent.

21. To install Emerald just type sudo apt-get install Emerald. To activate the emerald should also enable the Compiz it, too.

23. Then select Truglass on his engine, because it will give a transparent effect.

24. Icon to use as its icon Windows 7 you can use the icons downloaded from gnome-look. And install process can right click on desktop > change desktop background. Then click the Theme tab and select install to install its icon.
