Burning CD and DVD on Mac OS X with the Burn

Burn is an open source software for Mac OS X operating system that is used to burn / burning optical media like CDs and DVDs. Burn has four different modes:

1. Data
By using this mode, you can burn various files to CD / DVD. Essentially all existing files on your computer with Mac OS X operating system could be burning onto a CD.


2. Audio
This mode is used to burn the audio file.

3. Video
This mode is to burn video files into VCD, SVCD, DivX and so forth.

4. Copy
With this mode, you can copy files from CD to to be stored in a computer or burned to a CD to another.

Burn will automatically convert the files you select into a suitable format to the mode you select.

System Requirements:

Mac OS X 10.3.9 or higher
An PowerPC or Intel Mac
