Facebook Notifier Install on Ubuntu

Love the Facebook? Now we can install Ubuntu on Facebook Notifier in the system tray. Facebook Nzjrs Notify is an application that works worth at try.

Based on a simple python language for tray applications, Facebook Notify’ll tell us if any:

• Change the status, profile picture our friends
• Accept friend requests, event or group invitation
• If there is writing on our wall
• Notice when our pictures in the tags by friends

Install Facebook Notify

Open a terminal and type:

sudo aptitude install python-simplejson python-WebKit

Then download the following files.

Extracts in a safe place, for example in the directory “Home”. Double click on ‘facebook-notify.py’ and select ‘run’. Done and good luck.
