Ford will travel by car more fun and not worry about getting lost. Because, in order to facilitate the driver finding nowhere to go, there will be a Google Maps application that comes on every new car.
Car manufacturer based in Dearborn, Michigan, United States, in cooperation with Google adds Google Maps service communications system called Sync that is attached to the latest Ford, Lincoln and Mercury branded cars.
Twitteling quoted from PCWorld, Wednesday (06/09/2010), additional features of Google Maps that is named Send to Sync it to function allows users to send applications Maps and directions destination via a computer or smartphone directly to the car.
“Printing the street from the site in the form of a sheet of paper into an ancient heritage in an all-digital era like now,” said Director of Connected Services Solutions Organization VanDagens Doug Ford.
With Send to Sync, as said VanDagens, users can access the map of destination, anywhere as long as internet connection.
“Upon entering the car, this device already know where your destination. This device enables users and reduce paper waste that is used to print the map objectives. Of course, also helps the rider to focus on driving and paying attention to the road,” he said.
Google Maps application for the Ford had expected would be present in the market on July 1, 2010. While for models equipped with Sync device, will be available in 2011.
