Firefox for Maemo 5 is now officially released and separated from the Beta version, so now the Firefox browser for mobile devices that enter the version 1.1
Maemo mobile phone users who had previously been using beta versions of Firefox will get a warning that they now can update Maemo version 1.1. If it has not previously installed this application, we can download it via firefox.com/m directly from our mobile devices.
Here are the new features in the Firefox browser for the latest release Memo:
- Portrait mode when rotated
- New features smart-tapping system that can click a link, area, and the button becomes easier
- Improved form features assistant, including the autocomplete feature
- View the updated start page
- Update the add-ons automatically
- Open links in new tab and save the image from the context menu
- Theme new content to the web site form
- Improved Site Menu
- Use the volume keys to zoom
- Save pages to PDF
- Crash Reporter integrated
