Barnes & Noble has released Nook applications for Android, an electronic book reader applications for mobile devices using the Android OS 1.6 or higher. Nook for Android applications also enable users to shop at Barnes & Noble bookstores and select more than one million eBooks, including new releases, bestsellers and classics free.

Barnes & Noble using LendMe technology, which can be shared among users borrow books up to 14 days with their friends. In addition to Android device, other devices can use the e-reader application Nook is; iPad, iPhone, iPod touch and computer.
