Application

A mobile phone application developed by a software company in San Francisco, United States, claimed to be able to help police catch the thief mobile phone faster.

Quoted by Twitteling from San Francisco Gate, Friday (07/23/2010), Covia Labs as a developer, did a test to see the performance of the applications they create. Ie, by asking a woman to walk the streets at one corner of pickpocket-prone Francisco, holding the iPhone. After waiting long enough, sure enough, she started to attract the attention of thieves who immediately grab the woman’s iPhone.

“At the same time, applications have been embedded in the mobile phone to send cell phone location data display that can be viewed on a monitor screen,” said CEO Covia Labs, David Kahn.

Khan watch the map location of the stolen mobile phone in real time via a computer screen and was amazed at how quickly the image is displayed directly from the scene.

No wonder, the police could also be easily tracked, so accelerating the process of arrest. Nine minutes after the theft took place, the nearest police caught the thief is known named Horatio Toure who ran the iPhone uses a bicycle.

Application of real time GPS tracker was not yet have an official name. Unfortunately Covia Labs did not say when the application is marketed.
