Nokia Android Three Nokia without the android platform

Nokia-Android

A myriad of unanswered questions is whether Nokia join to enliven the recent Android operating system on the rise. It actually was to be expected before, though in a consortium or OHA Open Handset Alliance, initiated by Google in November 2007, signing up a few times, Nokia did not participate.

At the Nokia Connection 2010 held in Singapore last June, Jo Harlow, as senior vice president of Nokia smartphones and even asserted that Nokia will only play in three operating systems. Third, among other OS MeeGo which is a development of Maemo OS. This platform is prepared for use in mobile devices for high-end computer that will be invited to enjoy mobile internet users on a computer display like a general.

The second platform is Symbian, which has evolved into the Symbian ^ 3. OS was prepared for smart phones. In that case, users are expected to receive more applications which were presented on open source like Google Market Service. Tergres OS itself has been adopted at the Nokia N8 which will be released in Indonesia in the early fourth quarter this year.

The last one is the 40 Series (S40). This platform is ready for the phones mass-market class but have internet access capability. One of them you can enjoy on Nokia C3.

Nokia do have a “road” itself. In addition, through OVI, everything is already available a complete solution.
