Looks like this is a great time with the launch of Torch BlackBerry 9800, Research In Motion has released the BlackBerry Desktop Software applications 6 for PC users.
As we know, the BlackBerry Desktop Software 6 allows users to synchronize data on BlackBerry handsets with their home computer to back up their content and data transfer to computer or vice versa. This application is also often used when the user BlackBery want to replace their handsets without worry of data contacts and fuel so that the process of changing the contact lost device will not affect existing data.
In the latest BlackBerry Desktop application is also his view has been updated so that it has a slightly different view from previous versions dna provide a more pleasant visual experience. BlackBerry Desktop Software 6 will also come with Media Sync software that allows users to transfer their multimedia content to handsets. This will even work with us unprotected iTunes playlists.
As with iTunes, we’ll be able to use Desktop Software 6 to set our applications from the BlackBerry App World. Another cool feature would be the ability to sync music over WiFi, but we will need the latest version of the operating system in order to access this trick with ease.
Another very useful feature that we’ll get a desktop with this software is the ability to use the software updates on an existing BlackBerry smartphone. 9800 Torch will be the first device that is packaged with the software and OS 6 new BlackBerry will provide new features for other RIM handsets.
BlackBerry OS 6 will be available for other devices like the Bold 9700, Bold 9650, and Pearl 9100. This OS update will likely come via over-the-water, but I’m pretty sure that users will be able to get BlackBery faster through desktop software.
