Facebook at the peak of the crisis, four students from New York decided to create social networks based on open-source software as an alternative to Facebook. Their goal is to get USD10.000 for summer projects. However, because of exceptional charm, the project was to withdraw funds up to $ 100,000. In fact, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg also send donations, as quoted from Mashable, Friday (27/08/2010).
“We are currently working on the Diaspora and we loved it. Diaspora to be launched on September 15,” according to a statement from the Diaspora.
Diaspora initially only wanted to serve as a summer project, but the expectations will oarang-person project team to plan the beginning of the Diaspora changed. Diaspora development schedule has been added.
“We do not want to stop working on this project until it is launched,” they added.
