IDC revealed if SAP was ranked as the market leader Business Intelligence (BI) based on software license and maintenance revenue.
IDC also reports that SAP has experienced faster growth than the market applications for financial performance and strategic management (FPSM) for four consecutive years.
Two analysis IDC “Worldwide Business Intelligence Tools 2009 Vendor Shares1 ‘and’ Worldwide Financial Performance and Strategy Management Applications Vendor Shares2 2007-2009 ‘, suggests that SAP BI market leader with revenues amounting to USD1, 557.1 million and a market share of 19.5 percent while FPSM revenues exceeding USD535 million for a market share of 23.7 percent.
