BlackBerry RIM BlackBerry optimism was not blocked in IndiaDeveloper of the BlackBerry, Research In Motion (RIM) could prevent the blocking of optimism that will be done by the Indian government because of security concerns.

A delegation of Canadian companies that met with State Secretary GK Pillai to discuss the warning that the government would ban the BlackBerry email and messaging company, unless it provides access for authorized security agencies.

“I am optimistic,” said Vice President of RIM Robert Crowe told reporters after the talks, as reported AFP on Monday (8/16/2010).


Crowe is said, the BlackBerry has proposed technical solutions to meet India’s security concerns, but they must be evaluated to see whether they will satisfy both parties.

For RIM, India is one country that has a number of customers of the fastest growing, as many as 1.1 million BlackBerry subscribers in the country. Of course, RIM must move quickly to save their customers in India, especially before the UAE and Saudi Arabia also threatened the same thing.

Earlier, the Indian government seems to still confused, whether to block or not the Blackberry service in the country.

Concerns about the presence of threatening national security Blackberry India was still not proven. Even in the discussion of the government of India with the Blackberry service provider, has not reached an agreement.
