At Microsoft’s X10 event in Toronto, Phone circulated the news that Windows 7 will be integrated with Xbox LIVE.
“We’re currently working on a real-time phone into a console through Wi-Fi,” said a spokeswoman from Microsoft’s side, as quoted from Pocket-Lint, Thursday (26/08/2010).
“Doing your phone into a console is something we are doing and hopefully it will be enjoyed for some time to come,” they added.
This statement is reinforced by Travis Howland, executive producer of several game titles on Xbox LIVE. According to him, Xbox LIVE features may need to be synchronized with Windows components and features on the Phone 7.
Ron Presser, general manager of Xbox LIVE will also say that the views of the joint project is a smartphone with some different content.
“We will also conduct some experiments with several types of games for this cooperation,” said Presser.
When it’s clear Microsoft is focused on smartphone development.
