Billionaire Richard Branson to make sure the tour to the moon will materialize within the next 18 months, using the travel services of his Virgin Galactic spacecraft.
The project, named SpaceShipTwo is making the space shuttle program involving famous aviation engineer Burt Rutan. The plane was designed to bring tourists into orbit the moon. Of course with enough to spend inside.
“We have finished building SpaceShipTwo. 18 months before we can take tourists into space,” Branson said that requiring the tourists pay approximately USD200.000 for one-time tours, as quoted by AFP on Tuesday (28/09/2010).

Later SpaceShipTwo will be launched into space with the help of rocket launchers White Knight Two (WK2). WK2 will carry SpaceShipTwo to an altitude of 16 kilometers or approximately 50,000 feet before finally removing SpaceShipTwo and let it glide into space alone.
Before reaching orbit, SpaceShipTwo passengers could see the earth from the hole provided near their seats. Even they could remove the seat belt to feel walking without gravity.
Branson is also known as the owner of 20 percent shares of AirAsia X, which serves flights to Asia and Europe.
