Foursquare 2.0 applications for the iPhone has now been launched.
When Facebook launched Places, Foursquare CEO, Dennis Crowley mentions that Facebook is a generic Places. Crowley also promised that the new application would be far better Foursquare ministry, as quoted from Mashable, Tuesday (09/21/2010).
Foursquare 2.0 offers a menu of tips and To-Dos, which is now divided and given a new place on the navigation bar at the bottom. Foursquare now also connect between the discovery of mobile web with activity.
The goal is that the user sees Foursquare as a way to save the place they want to visit, which may be visited in the future. Foursquare pointed to this point
in their home with the button “Add to My Foursquare”. In the near future users will be able to see the see the button “Add to My Foursquare” on popular websites including Time Out! New York City, Time Out! Chicago, Eater, New York Magazine, The National Post, Zagat and The New York Times.
