Sometimes we require the standard fonts of microsoft while doing our daily work, such as fonts times new roman and arial are still widely used to perform the work, especially work that smelled of “office” even for other purposes such as website design, working on coursework, making e-book, and any correspondence standard fonts microsoft still often we use. Continue what you are using linux operating system, ubuntu for instance by default when you install the standard fonts installed microsoft does not participate, but do not worry on this occasion I will share simple tips on how to install fonts microsoft standard or so-called mscorefonts.

1. click the application and then click Software Center Ubuntu

2. In search box type ttf-mscorefonts

3. After the search results appear click install
4. Do not forget, the authentication window enter your password

5. wait a few moments, the font is ready for use.

Note: The first time installation of the default font is Liberation Serif openoffice application, but after you install the font pack as above, the default font will be Times New Roman fruitful

Tip: If you want to install and use other fonts provided by ubuntu, please click the Font menu, and then you select the font is installed, all for free.
