United States Space Agency (NASA), Comcast, AIG, Disney, and Proctor & Gamble, was attacked by a new computer virus that can weaken even remove the anti-virus software and security software on the computer.
McAfee labs, noting the virus spreads via email with the subject ‘Here you have’ or also in the form of email subject ‘Just for You’. The owner of the email have the email were asked to click a link contained in the email.
The virus was hiding behind a link that claims to contain PDF documents. But when clicked, the user would not be connected to a PDF file.
McAfee, as reported by PCWorld, Friday (10/9/2010), report when the link contains a PDF file is clicked it will actually lead owner email to file with the extension. Scr that will make the leap to computer viruses email owner. When infected with the virus will then automatically install CSRSS.EXE into the Windows directory. The virus then attempts to download files and try to remove the security software, including anti-virus
McAfee security experts recommend to prevent the entry of the virus, steps should be a user, you should not click any suspicious links from email, email sender even knowing it. McAfee also said it has to update its security tools to keep the virus ‘Here you have’ it.
Apart from McAfee, Norton and other security companies and Microsoft Security Essentials also said it has completed its products to anticipate seranga ‘Here You Have’.
