Amazon plans to launch its own shop applications such as the App Store which is owned by the App Store. The presence of these applications store serves to organize and offer an application designed for Google’s Android operating system.
The move comes after the online retail giant saw its own niche in the MP3 market and an increasingly large ebook. The Wall Street Journal reported that Amazon plans to launch an Android app store management to take Apple and Google, which already has its own app store that have been established
Vnunet quoted on Friday (08/10/2010), according to several developers who have been approached by the company, Amazon has not decided the name of an online application store and come with a tentative launch date.
Amazon plans to use the 70-30 revenue sharing model that has been adopted by Apple and Google.
Amazon also plans to limit developers from initial application with a lower price elsewhere.
