AMD recently showcased the raw power of the APU Llano which is a processor with three processing simultaneously with graphic-intensive workloads that is made separately.
In the demo, showing how the APU Llano AMD running on Microsoft Windows 7, capable of calculating the value of Pi to 32 million decimal places, decoding HD video from Blu-ray discs and drives the application DirectCompute nBody Microsoft at 30 GFLOPS impressive.
“Llano APU is the kind that makes you stop and continued to stare. He stood up to deliver world class performance, ranging from multi-tasking Everyday for stunning video and gaming,” explained AMD’s Corporate VP Chris Cloran, reported by PC World, on Wednesday.
“We believe that serial and parallel processing capabilities are stronger than APU Llano has the potential to make OEMs and consumers to rethink their computing experience,” he added.
However, Cloran stressed that the demonstration provided just a glimpse of what is owned by this processor, until finally able to provide the latest generation notebooks, ultrathins and desktop PCs.
“Nearly all consumers love about their digital lifestyle of today, social networking, gaming, consume and create media can be enhanced by Llano, allowing a more interactive experience, clear and deep,” he added.
