Finally, HP updated webOS

After Hewlett Packerd (HP) authorized to acquire Palm earlier this year. They also began to get ready to update the operating system by launching webOS webOS and handset 2.0 Pre 2.

Not just a new OS since held by HP, webOS 2.0 is the most significant update to Palm OS mobile since their debut in 2009.

“Under the new flag, Palm has added all sorts of developer-friendly API and much, to really speed up the UI,” said Dieter Boh observers, as reported by TG Daily, Wednesday.

“For example, there is a new service based on the background model node.js, hardware accelerated transition, and the structure of a new database named DB8 the underlying application,” he said

Broadly speaking, the latest iteration of webOS also includes,

• Multitasking real. Users can pause the game, then switch to email, check your calendar, and read email, respond, and so forth, then back to gaming applications without closing anything.
• Just Type, launch emails, create messages, update your status, browse your favorite web sites, even while opening an application.
• HP Synergy, Sign into Facebook, Google, Microsoft Exchange, LinkedIn and Yahoo account and your information automatically to the phone.
• Adobe Flash Player 10.1 (Beta) – Browser webOS beta now supports the Adobe Flash Player 10.1.
• Skype Mobile (Verizon Wireless only) – webOS 2.0 facilitates call Skype-to-Skype.
• VPN – Connect to a network of companies, including Cisco IPsec and mobile-optimized VPN AnyConnect (SSL, TLS and DTLS).
• Bluetooth keyboard, Bluetooth supports SPP Bluetooth keyboard and peripherals, enabling applications such as barcode readers and realty lock box.

While Palm Pre 2 will be updated with,

• 1GHz processor. 5 megapixel camera.
• 512 MB RAM
