Acer-Iconia
Less heard their work in the tablet PC market, Acer directly to a breakthrough. They launched several tablets at once, with the main star, Acer Iconia.
Iconia has a dual touch screen feature. It looked like a laptop but it seems feasible as a tablet called hybrid. There is no traditional mouse or keyboard, because the second screen can function as a virtual keyboard.
Armed OS Windows 7 Home Premium, Acer Iconia specs look impressive. Call it Intel Corei 5-480 chip processor, 4GB RAM, Bluetooth3.0, 640GB hard drive and also a webcam.
Quoted from TechRadar, connectivity in Iconia rely on 3 USB ports, one of which is version 3.0. There are also HDMI, 3G, and Wi Fi.
Three New Tablet
Iconia addition, Acer is also introduce two tablets Android, which each measuring 7 and 10 inch. Also there is another Windows 7-based tablet with a screen size 10 inch.
Both tablets Android from Acer’s plans to use versions Android 3.0 or Honeycomb. All products are scheduled to be coming soon in early 2011.
Acer Ammunition more complete with the presence of its own application store called Alive. This application store will serve the sales software for tablet users, smartphones and laptops made by Acer. Apparently, the Taiwanese manufacturer is not kidding demolish tablet market.
