facebook, one word that is so popular in recent years for our society. This one is a social networking seems to be a loyal friend especially for connoisseurs of cyberspace.

However, what if ‘facebook’ filmed? Whether fictional or real, the movie ‘The Social Network’ which tells about facebook, in fact could survive in the first box office for several weeks at the beginning of its release.

At the beginning of the movie, Mark Zuckerberg (Jesse Eisenberg), who just dropped out of his girlfriend, drunk and delirious in his blog. Genius student who assisted his friend, Eduardo Saverin (Andrew Garfield) that then break down the security system at Harvard with the site ‘Facemash’ which he created. Through the fraudulent site that users can assess who is the sexiest between two women who exist on a computer screen.

Mark fad seems to steal the attention of the twins Winklevoss (Armie Hammer and Josh Pence). They then asked Mark to join the programmer in creating sites specifically for Harvard.

Mark agreed. But what happened next, he was busy making the facebook site with friends. He was busy adding some coding to the application of the new facebook.

The conflict came after Mark prosecuted by Winklevoss brothers. Mark was accused of stealing their idea because Mark used it in the facebook.

Meanwhile, in another place, Mark and Eduardo met with the inventor of Napster, Sean Parker (Justin Timberlake). Sean was the one who proposes to eliminate the word ‘the’, and be a ‘facebook’.

At first glance, a film script written by the author of ‘The West Wing’, Aaron Sorkin is probably a little bit confusing because the plot back and forth. Quick dialogue that was brought by Mark may also be somewhat confusing at the beginning of the film.

However, director David Fincher managed to bring the audience into the story of Mark in this movie. Consider just a few events that led to Mark found some new applications in facebook. For example, the status of ‘Single’ or ‘In a Relationship’ which is available on facebook.

Adapted from the novel ‘The Accidental Billionaires’ by Ben Mezrich. This film could be controversial because regarded as a mere joke by the original characters in this film, Mark Zuckerberg.
