
Beginning next year, some Android users will get Netflix, as previously enjoyed by users of the iPhone and Windows Phone 7, just not for all users of Android.
Previously known Netflix is working to bring their service to the Android, but many people do not know the reason why they are still delaying the plan. Similarly, as quoted by Mashable.
Greg Peters, product-development of Netflix writes on his blog yesterday “lack of security platforms and mechanisms for content protection has hindered the development of Netflix’s Android platform for smart phones is growing rapidly. In other words, Netflix has not been able to implement it on all devices digital rights management from Android.
“We are actually very eager to launch Netflix on Android. We are disappointed because we have not been able to do this as soon as possible,” wrote Greg Peters. It is said also by Peters, that security issues are also highly considered.
Netflix is currently working with hardware makers to support the application on several phones Android, and its launch is expected to be conducted in early 2011.
Netflix is a service that offers streaming video on the internet.
