Sony Vaio Y ready to challenge MacBook Air

Ultra-thin laptop from Apple, MacBook Air, has come out the newest version. Sony seems to respond with Apple this step, and launched a series Vaio Y laptop with a new design to match.

Model Vaio VPCYA19FJ / B has the same screen size with one version MacBook Air, namely 11.6 Inch. And although less than MacBook Air thin, to say the design is still very slim.

Quoted by Twitteling from Cnet, Vaio Y weight only 3 pounds, 1 pound heavier than MacBookAir. Then the thinnest part of this new Vaio Y size only 1.2 inches.

Laptops will be marketed in Japan from 27 November with the price of USD 1336 and may be visited international market. The following comparison of specifications between MacBook Air with VaioY:
