Company Texas Instruments (TI) has developed the ARM processor-based dual-core processors capable of running at 1.5 GHz capability. This means that the processor is the fastest in its class.

OMAP4440 chip has two MPCores Cortex-A9, which has technology that can increase to 1.25x graphics performance, decreased 30 percent when the web page load time and 2-fold increase in performance while playing a 1080p video.

Launched by TG Daily, this processor also offers support for 3D stereoscopic images, video conferencing 1080p. But the advantages are, in this processor is able to open up content faster without consuming much energy.

Well, Texas Instruments OMAP4440 said the number of samples will be launched in the first half of 2011, with full production starting in the second half of this year.

So, there is a possibility that the first device loaded with the chip, dual-core 1.5GHz can be expected to attend the market in early 2012, or if we’re really lucky, in late 2011.

ARM-based processors such as TI OMAP4440 become a powerful new generation of mobile devices that can stream video without interruption and multitasking without a hitch.
