Damon Albarn recorded all of the material Gorillaz latest album just by using iPad, and plans to release it for free as a Christmas present. The album whose title has not been announced it will be downloaded for free to the members on the site Gorillaz.com on Christmas day.
Gorillaz album was done while on tour, and was originally to be released before Christmas. Similarly, as quoted from Pocket-Lint.
“When we look at the calendar on the Gorillaz website and find the exact date for releasing the album as a gift,” said Damon Albarn, lead singer and drafter of the Gorillaz.
“Christmas, a video-clip from the album iPad will also be released. Then, fans can also download the album for free through our site,” said Albarn.
Albarn also talked about the inspiration of the album iPad. “I made it on the road while on tour in America. I wrote it does not do any preparation. I do it every day and regard it as my diary when he was in America at that time,”
Gorillaz founded by Damon Albarn in 1998 as a side project from his band at the time, Blur. Up to this time have released three studio albums.
