Microsoft Word is used with problems after you have finished updating Windows. There are several functions in Microsoft Word are not working properly. For example, this application does not respond to open or save a document you want. Not only that, the instructions via the mouse was unable to function properly.

Tips This problem can arise because of many things. Not only that, often times a problem like this happen when you operate the Microsoft Word application under Vista operating system. One of the things you can try is to remove registry keys created by Word and you can find under the System Registry in Windows.

For this, close all Microsoft Office programs that you are open. Next, click the “Start | Run” then type ‘regedit’ in the “Open” and press [ENTER]. Windows will display the Registry Editor window and there you can access the HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftOffice12.0Word. Now, point your mouse at the right panel select the subkey data and then delete these subkeys. Confirmation notifications are displayed by the Registry Editor by pressing the “Yes”. Finally, close the Registry Editor window and restart Word. In some cases, Microsoft Word should return to function without creating new problems.
