PlayStation phone, do same with Xperia Play?

After some time quite crowded news about the PlayStation Phone, suddenly appeared the other speculation. This is related to a product called Xperia Play.

Is the site reviewers, smartphone, Pocket Now, who knows the filing of trademark Xperia Play for the EU.

Quoted by twitteling, Sony Ericsson Xperia filed trademark Play, Neo Xperia, Xperia Xperia Duo and Arc for ‘mobile phones and accessories’ in the EU.

As a result of the submission that, PocketNow speculate ‘Xperia Play’ will be the official name for the PlayStation phone that is said will be announced in February 2011.

Obviously, if this is true, Sony Ericsson takes extra effort to make consumers aware that this is a product directly related to the PlayStation. Efforts will be much easier if the name is a PlayStation Phone cell phone or the like.

Another alternative is, Xperia Play is the name of the additional services for mobile phones from Sony Ericsson Xperia. Or, Sony Ericsson is also developing other mobile phone called Xperia Play.

Whatever it is, Sony Ericsson is believed will make his official announcement at Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona, February 2011. From the video that circulated, PlayStation phone (or whatever his name later) will use the Android operating system and has a button-style gaming, the PlayStation.
