Rumors circulating on the Internet that mention the PlayStation Portable (PSP) version will be equipped with sensitive touchpad on the back. Furthermore, recent news says CEO Sony Computer Entertainment has shown indications that justify the news.

Rumors surrounding the PSP with the touchpad is already busy blowing since last August. Well, after quite a while to let the news develops, in an interview with the New York Times, the CEO Kaz Hirai Today, reveal other clues about this PSP2.

“There are types of games that can be played perfectly with the touch panel. There is also better if you use the button or pad,” Hirai said as quoted by the New York Times.

Although not mentioned explicitly, Hirai information is increasingly strengthened speculation about the touchpad on the PSP2. “And I think, could have been among the game that incorporates a combination of both,” Hirai added emphasize.

On the same occasion, Hirai also indicated his belief that the increase in interest in casual games will be very profitable for Sony, which is better known as a hardcore game maker.

“We saw a lot of people who had not previously been interested in playing games now come into the gaming population. It means, ‘cake’ for the greater gaming industry,” he said optimistically.
