A social networking site aimed at children aged 8 to 13 years has been launched. Schools, manufacturers and investors are ready to cooperate.

The site is named Everloop, operates like facebook, but need parental permission to register. Parents can also choose what kind of activities children can do on the site, including to select features. All activities on these sites will be monitored by Everloop. Similarly, as quoted by Mashable.

Features that are safe for children in Everloop match with the provisions of the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), which prevents sites gathering information from children under the age of 13 without parental permission. Most of the children through the provision of this by lying about their birth dates. On the other hand, school, usually to block social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter on the grounds that the common platform without supervision makes parents anxious.

By following the provisions of COPPA, Everloop can be used in schools. In April, a collaboration with i-Safe, Internet safety education program, will present the platform to 56 thousand schools. i-Safe will include a white label version of the network Everloop into their curriculum to demonstrate the ability of social media.

Everloop block their service to the school as a social networking site for others like Edmodo Naka. Everloop has collaborated with the products of other children who want to share their content for that platform.
