Samsung Electronics announced their new line of processors specialized for use on mobile phones, tablets and other mobile devices.

Exynos with Orion code, now the mainstay of South Korean firms in the chip market. Samsung will produce Exynos rumored next month. This chip is a 1GHz dual-core processors with multimedia applications that are designed for full HD and consume less power so the battery could last longer.

The word comes from the word Exynos Expynos and Prasinos, which in Greek means smart and green.

“This processor would then replace the processor Hummingbird Samsung. Expynos have high performance and low power intake,” says Samsung, as quoted from the dailymail.

Later Exynos will enliven the competition processor made specifically for the tablet device. Previously manufacturers, like Qualcomm and Texas Instruments also makes specialized chips such as Qualcomm’s Snapdragon tablet dual-core processors and OMAP APQ8060 5.
