Four months after launching its first Galaxy Tab, Samsung is now ready to introduce the latest version of the tablet computer with a larger screen.
South Korean electronics giant’s latest plan will be showcased at the event tablet World Mobile Congress in Barcelona which was officially opened today.
If Galaxy Tab first 7-inch screen size, this latest version has a larger screen, which is 10.1 inches. Operates with the latest OS Android, version 3.0 or Honeycomb, Galaxy Tab 2 also has a camera with 8 mega-pixel resolution and dual-core processor Qualcomm. Similarly, as quoted from Yahoonews.
Although physically larger than the iPad has a 9.7-inch screen size, but Galaxy Tab 2 believed to be much thinner and lighter than the output of Apple’s tablet.
Samsung launches its first Galaxy Tab last November and became the first Android-based tablets that are sold through major telecommunications operator in the United States.
Galaxy Tab 2 is expected to face competition from other tablets such as Motorola Xoom, or iPad 2, which reportedly will also be launched in the near future.
