Tablet HTC Flyer, officially launched

Besides launching Android-based smart phone, ChaCha and Salsa, HTC also recently launched a 7-inch tablet PC called HTC Flyer at the Mobile World Congress, Spain.

Tablet PC 7-inch aluminum with the features 1.5 GHz CPU (single-core), RAM 1 GBdan space 32 GB of data storage. In addition, HTC Flyer also possess 5-megapixel camera on the back and an additional 1.3 megapixel camera on the front for video calls. Similarly, as quoted by Mashable.

HTC Flyer is a powerful tool, but lack one thing that competitors have, that is the Android OS 3.0 (Honeycomb). HTC’s Android OS Gingerbread Flyer run that has been modified and a special version of the display face HTC Sense.

Furthermore, with a screen of 7 inches, HTC Flyer is the smallest of the many new competitors, such as Motorola Xoom and Smasung Galaxy Tab 10.1. HTC may soon have to have a successor of the HTC Flyer if you want to get a large part in the tablet market.

HTC Flyer will be available on the market in the second quarter of 2011 with the Gingerbread Android OS 2.4. For the official price yet to be announced.
