A company from China, antivirus software makers have been accused of deliberately install a virus into the cell phone.

The company, which named NetQin, claimed to have incorporated the virus into the cell phone in order for mobile phone users want to pay them to eliminate the virus.

Quoted via Cellular News, the allegation filed by a local Chinese television. He said, NetQin will enter the malware secretly now owned NetQin antivirus program installed.

Once installed, the antivirus software is suspected to trigger warnings and provide information to users to update to the antivirus software to eliminate the problems that arise. Each update is done, users will be charged USD 30.


In addition, the allegations against NetQin also not just stop there. NetQin also claimed to have omitted a variety of antivirus that is in phone victims with the purpose for which they planted a virus was not detected.

As a result of these allegations, the three network operators in China have blocked the sale of NetQin software that is distributed through its own application store. In fact, these operators have closed access to an attractive NetQin direct cost to bill customers for software upgrades.
