Joe Hewitt, the developer who works with Mozilla and help create a facebook application for the iPhone, has announced one of its first project since leaving facebook for work on an independent company. Development tools that will come, labeled Scrollability, is a script that is designed and expected to be present for the original web application.
“Scrollability is a single script, small, and has no external dependencies,” Hewitt wrote on his Web site. “Enter into your page and add some CSS classes for scrollable element.”
The project is said to be still in the early stages of development and not yet ready for use. Hewitt himself is planning to add the ability to scroll up when the status bar is pressed, the choice of snap for border a page, photo viewer with zoom, and a table header. According to the newspaper, the documentation for new Scrollability will be released when ready.
