New-iTunes

Last week at the arena in WWDC Apple 2011 announced iCloud, which is an online storage and synchronization services for music, photos, files and software. Although currently not all features are available but you can already use the ‘iTunes In The Cloud Beta‘ if you first update to iTunes 10.3.1.

There are some important things you need to know about the new iTunes. For that Twitteling provide some guidance as follows:

1. What is ‘iTunes In The Cloud Beta’?

Service to store all the files that you have purchased on the iTunes Store so you can access it on any computer and iDevices.

2. Is not this can only happen when the iOS device sync with the computer?

Yes, but now you do not have anything connected the physical. For example, when you buy a song, the iPhone will automatically set it so that the song could appear in the iTunes Library on the Mac in your home, on the iPad also on the PC. In other words you do not need to synchronize from one device to another device.

3. How many devices can be connected? How does Apple know which device you use to get the music?

You have AppleID, right? That is what will serve as a link and connect your device you own. All the devices that you set with AppleID can be used to download songs that you have purchased using other devices.

4. How do I do this? Where can i find these features?

You can use a Mac or PC, open iTunes, then open the ‘purchased’ in the left column. Click on it and then look in the lower right corner, you will find the ‘Download Previous Purchases’.

Window that opens shows 2 views: ‘All’ and ‘Not In My Library’. You can choose to use an existing button in the upper right corner. All files that you have purchased using other devices will be seen along with a small cloud icon next to it. Click on the cloud is to start the download process.

If you use your iPhone or other mobile devices made by Apple, you can find the feature in iTunes App. Open the menu ‘purchased’ and the next process the same as in Mac or PC.

5. Should it be done manually every time?

You can set an automatic download so you do not need to arrange to be placed where you want to download music. Each device has the ability to get a copy of the file that you buy at the iTunes Stores using other devices. Things like that do not apply only to music but the applications and books can also be distributed using the same method. For example, buy a song from iTunes via the iPhone then that song will appear on other devices in just a few minutes afterwards.

6. What about movies and TV shows?

Yet exist. It is still in talks with the managers of movie studios, Apple and his lawyers.

7. How do I set the Automatic Downloads?

In the Apple mobile device you can set it in Settings. Open the ‘Store’ and that’s where you can set it. You can set the download limit for songs, applications and books. You also can set the iPhone / iPad / iPod Touch to be able to receive all of the content. Automatic Downloads using WiFi signal but you can set the controls for use 3G if there was no WiFi.

On the Mac / PC you can find these controls in the preferences under the ‘Store’. From there, the process is similar to using Apple’s way of setting the mobile device.

8. What if want to add music to iTunes, but the music was not purchased in the iTunes Stores? Was also be sent to another device?

Not yet. Currently iCloud feature only applies to content that is purchased at the iTunes Stores. Later in the fall (September-November), Apple will add a new service called iTunes Match. That feature allows you to share all good music purchased from Apple, ripped CDs or purchased from other sources such as Amazon MP3. Share it can be done to all the devices you have with subscription costs $ 25 / year.

9. In conclusion, no need to sync?

Still necessary. Although you can be connected without wires using the service but to sinc iCloud photos, contacts and calendar data backup, getting software updates, etc., still required synchronization with the computer. End of the year Apple will release many more features iCloud.
