Google just last week to remove 26 applications from the Android Market because of indications of contracting malware “DroidDream Light”. However, it seems there are still remnants of viruses that have not disappeared and must be immediately removed. It seems that many of the details that appear on other versions of malware that works the same way, they call it “DroidKungFu“.

This news comes from North Carolina State University blog. They were discussing that “DroidKungFu” This new work as DroidDream, but has developed a more sophisticated way to get mobile security applications such as Lookout. According to them, malware install “backdoor” that gives full control over the phone on the hackers. In this way, all user data will be exposed, even they can make your phone like a robot, that will do all the things they want.


Reportedly most of this malware appeared in third-party app store and Chinese sites. Just in case, it’s good if you only download applications from trusted sources. However, they mentioned that this malware only affect the Android 2.2 and earlier versions, Google has improved vulnerability in Android 2.3.
