Apple promises to provide software updates to cope with Defender Mac malware has been fulfilled. Security updates are now available for download through Apple’s site.
In Mac OS X 10.6.7, the installation process runs with a way to find and remove various file that is suspected as the Mac Defender malware. Users also will be given notification after Mac Defender successfully cleaned.
Sign malware on Mac OS X is now updated every day in the background without having to update software manually:
“Apple makes a list containing the name of the malware that is used during the process of checking the safe download to determine whether there are files that are malware. The list will be stored locally on my Mac with the Security Update 2011-003 is updated every day that run through the background process.
Security Update 2011-003 provides additional protection by way of checking the Mac Defender and other malware types. If Mac Defender has found the system will stop it and then delete it and fix any changes that occur in the configuration file or login. After Mac Defender identified and cleaned, a message appears when an administrator logged in at another time. “
