Opera, and Loewe present web content on television

Opera Software today announced that the Opera Devices SDK 10:15 for the Linux platform has been selected by Loewe, the premium brand in Europe known as the entertainment producer for the household.

Opera will help Loewe fulfill its promise to provide “innovation for the senses” by providing Web browsing, widgets and implementation in HbbTV connected with Loewe TV.

Opera is connected to the TV is designed to function as a one-stop shop to provide superior content optimized for screen television. Opera is known as speed, superior performance and using the Web standards that have produced the best content and now presented to the television set.

Opera has maintained strong support of initiatives like the Open IPTV Forum and HbbTV and have applied this standard to help manufacturers create better solutions and improve time-to-market.
