Facebook ambitions to get more financial advantage than ever before. Various efforts they are doing, such as Facebook “Credit” which is used to develop a virtual farm. However, what can they do to raise more money outside the web application? What about the mobile market that is booming right now?


Reportedly this time the social networking giant is working with a secret program dubbed “Project Spartan”. This project will allow users to make purchases through mobile web browsers, thanks to the HTML5-based applications. However, a problem arises, some major competitor Facebook has complete control over their own application store.

That is why up to find ways to “cut” the Apple App Store and Android Market as a whole, so that Facebook can control all the applications within their ecosystems. This may be a little reminiscent of the time Amazon released their own app for the Android market. Facebook reportedly the main goal is to build a community of software to compete with Apple. Well.. although the way in that direction would be very long, but who knows someday we may find that running the OS up with the latest smartphones.
