Android-3.2-Honeycomb

Android 3.2 is no longer a rumor. Today the Android Open-Source Project engineer, Jean-Baptiste Queru (JBQ), has provided the GPL portions than 3.2 source code to AOSP tree. But that does not mean that Honeycomb has open-sourced, because it’s just little things that used to update the 3.2 uses the GPL license; which requires source code is available when the software has been obtained.

If you are an application developer, keep in mind that JBQ also provide build instructions, which have not changed since the last time given. JBQ also informed that the binaries are not likely to run on actual hardware, such as code 3.1. While many who want a honeycomb core to be open-source, at least now you know that there are 3.2 update and will be visible in the near future.

UPDATE: As with any update 3.1, Android 3.2 update for the first time is also given to Motorola Xoom. With the build number HTJ85B, Xoom will soon have WiFi feature ‘stretch and zoom’ and another, SD card support.
