Nimbuzz

Nimbuzz has updated its new version for Android by adding a push notification feature. This feature allows you to look online to all your friends, even if the application is closed. This method will certainly save battery life and reduce the consumption data.

If anyone is sending chat messages, Nimbuzz will provide notification on the status bar so that you know there is someone who is calling you. The way that smart, easy and simple, right? This feature is available for Android 2.2 and above. To enable this feature, you need only visit the Settings-Notifications-Enable.

This new delivery notification message will display:

  • A check mark (?) when your message has been successfully sent to the server Nimbuzz
  • 2 a tick (? ?) when your message has been successfully sent to the person who chatting with you. Please note that this does not indicate if the chats you have read by others but only submitted.

The new 2.0.8 version also comes with a nifty little feature, called: Synchronize with devices. If you activate it you’ll see all your friends in the Nimbuzz mobile phone contacts list and you can start a chat or call them directly from phone contact lists. This update can already be downloaded for free at Android Market.
