Fever Apple finally got around to you? No wonder Apple is so because the products have been recognized worldwide as one of the best gadgets ever.

Well, after the iPhone/iPod/iPad is in your hands, what should you do? After opening the box, you can not directly use them but you have to do a little setup. Ok, this article will help you do it.


If you do not already have an account in iTunes, then you have to open apple.com/itunes, download iTunes, or if necessary you may have to rip some CDs. Once it has finished, follow these steps:

1. Take the sync cable (included in box iOS devices that you have one) then connect the iOS device to the computer. If iTunes does not open automatically, then you need to click on your iPhone/iPhone/iPad on the left sidebar.

2. When the prompt appears, select ‘Set Up as a New iPhone/iPod/ iPad. Afterwards, you will be able to choose whether you want to automatically sync music, photos, applications, or is it all synchronized to the iOS device that you wear. Press the ‘Done’ to start the synchronization. This process would it needed a minute, wait until it finishes.

3. After the synchronization process is complete, then it could have been used iDevice. If you already have music on iTunes when iDevice setup, then you will be able to see it in the application of ‘iPod’ on your iPhone or iPad. Or, it could be seen in the applications ‘Music’ if you wear your iPod touch. It should be noted that the music you will not be found in application ‘iTunes’ on your cell phone because that feature only applies if you buy new music.

If the previous process you choose to sync all the applications you’ve downloaded, then the application will appear on your iDevice homescreen. Well, now all of the features have to be working. To add a collection of applications or games you can look it up in the App Store by selecting the App Store icon is blue, or buy songs on iTunes from the purple icon.

You also can sync more than just music, photos and applications to iDevice. If you connect back to iTunes and click on the sidebar, you’ll see a row of the main panel of the above categories (‘Summary’, ‘info’, ‘Apps’, etc.). If you click on ‘Info’, you can synchronize contacts, calendar and email account from Outlook, Apple Mail, and much more. You also can sync bookmarks from Internet Explorer or Safari.

By clicking on the tab Apps, Music, Movies, TV Shows, Podcasts, Books, and Photo, you can choose the sync by a certain artist, playlist or genre. That can be done if you do not have enough storage to sync everything.

Every time you make changes to Preference in iDevice, be sure to press the ‘Apply’ at the bottom of the iTunes window so that synchronization can be implemented with the new settings.
