Apple co-founder Steve Jobs dies today (5 Oct, American time). Jobs died at the age of 56.

Jobs resigned from Apple’s position as CEO last August after some time experiencing health problems. Jobs underwent pancreatic surgery in 2004 and after Jobs suffered various health problems without ceasing. Apple announced in January 2011 and then Jobs will take a leave of absence from his duties as CEO of health-related conditions continue to decline.

In 2009, Jobs has also been performing liver transplants preceded by a six-month leave of absence. Then Jobs came back to work for one and a half years before later taking a longer leave of absence and resigned from his position as CEO of Apple.


Jobs was born in San Francisco in 1955 from a young couple who later gave up for adoption Jobs mate Paul and Clara Jobs. Small jobs to grow and thrive in Mountain View and Cupertino, where Apple’s headquarters are at the moment.

Now that Apple grew dang evolved as the most successful companies in America, Jobs certainly can rest in peace and see all his hard work can be enjoyed by people around the world and inspired many other companies to contribute to advancing computing technology.
