Apple seems to attract quite a lot of attention to features that Siri was the introduction of the iPhone 4S. However, in the midst of his success, Dag Kittlaus, co-founder of Siri intelligent software is actually rumored to have left the Cupertino company. Really? So what causes it?


The split reportedly due Kittlaus want to spend time with his family in Chicago and looking for some new ideas to be developed. Kittlaus left Apple shortly after the launch of the iPhone 4S that is quite successful in the past October 14.

Although Kittlaus left Apple, but Siri other team members will continue to work for a company that has also been abandoned by it’s co-founder. Before becoming a major feature in the iPhone 4S, Siri is a free application on the App Store. Application-based personal assistant sound has had a pretty good achievement, because of its ability to recognize voice commands that can be perceived very easy for users.

Knowing the potential of this amazing app, Apple also decided to acquire a value of nearly $200 million in April last year. At the D8 conference, Steve Jobs said that Apple is interested in the Siri because the application is working with artificial intelligence.

Now, one can say that Siri is one of the driving forces behind the success of the iPhone 4S, which reached sales of 1 million units in just 24 hours, even this figure could make Apple’s return on investment to the value taken off for the sake of buying Siri.
