Foxconn Technology introduced its first motherboard for the AMD 890GX. Named A9DA-S motherboard that supports socket AM3, has a dual-channel DDR3 integrated Radeon HD4290.
With the Radeon HD4290 integrated, motherboard-S A9DA it is claimed could be used to assemble a multimedia PC with High Definition quality. Moreover, the architecture used AMD said will transfer the burden of HD video playback from the main processor.
To his memory, Dual Channel DDR3 available can be filled up to a maximum of 16GB (1333/1066/800 MHz). Whereas for an additional card, Foxconn provides two PCI-E 2.0 x16 ATI Hybrid additional support. There are also two PCI-E 2.0 x1 and two PCI buses.
This device can support up to 14 USB 2.0, with six rear ports available and four pins on the board can support up to eight ports again. In addition, there was one 1394a port on the back and one more in the form of pins on the board. A9DA-S also comes with SATA 3.0, DVI and HDMI.
