Google pause the Android 4.0 update for Nexus S

Previously Google has started to provide an update to the Android Ice Cream Sandwich Nexus S. This update has been received Nexus S users in some countries but it seems just a little while it’s being updated. This is not because Google has decided to temporarily suspend updates to the Nexus S ICS due to problems resulting in battery life.

Simultaneously depletion of the battery was user Nexus S also reported a spike in CPU usage. Two things that of course is directly interconnected. On the other side of the Galaxy Nexus users have also reported the same thing. This is believed due to a problem with the kernel drivers and cause OS smartphones continue to idle in order to stay awake and the result is a depleted battery.
